Air Force Academy and Air Force ROTC Informational Meeting

The United States Air Force Academy is not only a distinguished military academy, but also a leading, progressive institution of higher education. The Air Force Academy was recently ranked as the #10 Undergraduate Institution (out of 650 of the top colleges/universities in the nation). Additionally, our college experience is completely cost-free to all students. All students graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree (with 32 majors to chose from) and receive a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the world’s greatest Air Force. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is a premiere scholarship program available at over 1000 universities nationwide—if the Air Force Academy isn’t for you perhaps training to become an officer via AFROTC suits your goals. Come learn about both programs!

The Air Force Academy and AFROTC Informational Meeting will be an interactive environment where students and parents can discuss the opportunities that the Academy and AFROTC have to offer. You will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the U.S. Air Force Academy, AFROTC and congressional staffers that will be able to answer questions about the Academy nomination process. Southern Colorado Air Force Admissions Liaison Officers will also be available to provide clear instructions on the application process. To RSVP and reserve your seat, or for additional details, please contact admissions regional director Ms. Harrison at gay.harrison@usafa.edu by 15 August 2012. Hope to see you there!

Staff from Rep. Scott Tipton’s office will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about the service academy nomination process.
