Spending Cuts and Debt
For the sake of our grandchildren and our nation’s future, we must rein in runaway federal spending.
Before I was elected, I made a pledge to the voters of Colorado that I would work to bring fiscal responsibility back to Washington. For the sake of our grandchildren and our nation’s future, we must rein in runaway federal spending. As we move forward, I will remain committed to cutting spending and putting our country back on the path to economic growth. I have already casted several votes to reduce spending, starting with a five-percent cut to my own office budget. I am also co-sponsoring H.J.Res. 4, a constitutional balanced budget amendment.
