A pair of Colorado congressmen objected Friday to a proposal from the U.S. Postal Service to close a number of small-town post offices. Reps. Cory Gardner and Scott Tipton, both Republicans who represent parts of Southern Colorado, said in their letter to the chairwoman of the Postal Regulatory Commission that 61 of the state's 71 proposed closures fell in their districts.
