U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton is not happy with the way the Bureau of Reclamation does its public-opinion surveys. Apparently when they send them out they ask people to complete the form and as a thank you they include a $2 bill as incentive to return the survey.

The House voted Wednesday to prevent federal agencies from using cash as an incentive for individuals to respond to surveys. The House voted 355-51 in favor of an amendment by U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton, R-Colo., that would ban the practice among agencies affected by the energy and water appropriations bill.
