Tipton Encourages Coloradans to Support Small Business this Saturday
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Scott Tipton (CO-03) is encouraging communities across Colorado’s Third Congressional District to participate in Small Business Saturday, which falls on November 24th this year. As a former small business owner and Co-Chairman of the Congressional Small Business Caucus, Tipton is dedicated to working on issues that strengthen the economy and allow small businesses and entrepreneurs to succeed.
“Small businesses are the driving force behind the American economy as they create the majority of new jobs and generate billions of dollars annually in revenue. Small Business Saturday is a good opportunity to show support for local businesses while getting a jump on holiday shopping,” said Tipton. “Much of what is done in Congress directly impacts the ability of small businesses to operate. We have been successful in implementing many important reforms to empower Main Street job creators, such as cutting bureaucratic red-tape and lowering taxes, and I will continue to work to strengthen local small business opportunities in the next Congress.”
Tipton is a cosponsor of a Congressional Resolution (H.Res. 1144) recognizing Saturday, November 24, 2018, as Small Business Saturday.
