Tipton Statement in Remembrance of September 11
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Scott Tipton (R-CO) issued this statement in observance of the anniversary of the attacks on September 11, 2001.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who were senselessly killed eleven years ago, the heroes of that day who did everything they could to help, and the troops who lost their lives in defense of our country since. We will never forget what happened on that tragic day, or where we were when we heard the news that forever changed our nation. That day was one of the hardest we have ever faced. We joined together as a nation to grieve the loss of our family, friends and neighbors, and emerged stronger than ever in our resolve to proudly carry on the torch of liberty. May God bless America and watch over all of those who continue to fight for our freedom and keep our nation safe.”
